My dad just went through open heart also. Would you believe it’s the leg they take the vein out of that you have to watch?? They split you open like a chicken, but the leg is usually the problem??

I just started reading your account. I feel kind of a kinship with you but from the other side. I am a parent of a child who went to a wilderness program. I remeber the desperation of wanting to help this child and after years of different treatment the court ordered him into a program, I don’t know that it solved all of his problems…. I know it didn’t in fact, but I know it helped him gain better insight into himself, this was after the state of utah began regulating the programs better, but hearing your account so far makes me wonder….. then makes me want to cry from what you had to endure. Also being a ‘troubled teen’ myself I feel so much for your hurt and pain and all of the emotions you had to experience. Bless you Alli. I hope you have finaly found peace in your life…..
